The 1991 movie The Super, starring Joe Peschi, was based on the story of Morris Gross. Morris was a landlord in New York City who, after racking up 400 code violations, was sentenced by a judge to live in one of his buildings AND be the superintendent.
In other words, he was made to be a customer of his own property management company AND work as a front-line employee.
