Leaders need to be reminded that no pain is too great for the people who don’t have to feel it.

While you and your leadership team have been busy coming up with what you think are great ideas, policies, and procedures, unless you are willing to experience, first-hand, the consequences of those decisions… like a customer or front-line employee, you might never know how damaging some of them really are.

And, because you might also be insulated from the pain your decisions and actions are causing, the sense of urgency to correct your course might also be lacking.
